I like the painted wheels look but after a couple of years got a little bored. In the shade or at night I thought it looked kind of dreary so I added beauty rings.
A couple of pics showing the radiator cross over to connect the Y block to my $35 swap meet radiator. It is just a piece of 2”x1” rectangular tubing with a hose connection on each end and something to bolt it to a couple of oil pan bolts. I welded a pipe thread bung in the bottom so I can drain the cooling system. Truck has been a good work horse. I like the look of a shortened bed but it is too handy as is.
@Kiwi Kev I don't know if it is what they teach in NZ school's? but you Kiwi's have a wonderful ability to think outside the square & solve problems in very creative ways! Love your work & approach to things
