I think your 34 is bad ***, great work. Looks like a lot of time, money and dedication to get that car to where its at. Ignore the negs, Envy is such a deadly sin!!!!!

What is the difference between "fake patina" and new paint?
I mean, if you paint a 34 Ford with nice new glossy paint are we supposed to think it is original? Of course not.
Do we think the fake patina is original? No.
Can we admire each artistic representation equally?
    Yes.
Do we have to like each equally?
    No.
In fact there are some new paint jobs I don't like.
    And some I do.
And some patina jobs I don't like.
    And some I do.
What's wrong with trying to make an old car look like it's an old car?
    To each his own.

Hey Concreteman, You need to change the ***le of this post to "What does the great all knowing Fab32 Frank think of my car?" :) You should have pack ratted the car into storage and just talked about what you're going to do with it some day. Gee, sounds kinda familiar....

Great car and glad you built it your way. I've got a '33 5W that I WISH was on the road. Nice work. Keep walking the walk!

I really like that car. 99% of the general public will see it and think of it as a real deal survivor.

Just a nice car ... concreteman. Actually both cars.

I've got a '46 cpe. with some "real" patina mixed with some real bad primer work. Plus I've got the real period correct broken windows.

I was all up for changing the windows but figured I'd take a beating on here if I do!!

Nice ride .... keep it the way YOU want it.

  18. Build what you like and enjoy the hell out of it. If we followed the rules that the haters seem to deem more important than our own personal likes and dislikes we should al start to restore cars then the rules are much easyer to follow. This sport would be very boring if we followed the haters rule book.

some people are so hung up on some of the stupidest ****..let it be known , jelousy probably is the motivator.

I dig it, and i could care less if its earned patena or designed patena, what matters to me is , its back on the road, driven and enjoyed..and bad ***

at least it aint all rusty and full of holes as if the owner doesnt care about it

You should be ashamed to show that car in public! To show what a nice guy I am, I will give you the full retail price of what it sold for when new. Just so you don't need to feel bad about it any more. BJR

Strokes for Folks!! Very nice 34, it's your car, and you did it your way. I am sure this was not an easy project. Every trend has some doubters and thats life. And again like ol Frank said, I'll Do It My Way! Enjoy your nice rod man. ditto Von Rig Fink ~sololobo~
