It was my wife's and my project for about 16 years. It's in another owner's possesion now. It was the prettiest street rod we ever owned.
Here are a couple of photos of my '35. This car was in the Mississippi flood of '93. It had a water line around the car at about the upper hubcap area. The running gear was trashed, but the body was O.K. Naturally that forced a running gear change, so I did a body off, and then put everything back the way it was. It's still an original paint car.
Wow Threewindow. I am grumbling about having to take mine apart this winter to correct some minor paint issues. I surely don't envy what you went through. It looks great. You have a neat piece of history. John L
Here is a progress update on my coupe from picture#480. Chopped top, louvered deck lid and hood side panels. 40 Dash comes next!
Man, I thought I was hooked on 33-34's. But after seeing these great 35-36 coupes, maybe it is time to expand my horizons!
I would love to have an original Mullins someday. A friend of mine has a couple stashed in his barn but I don't think he'll ever come off of them.
I've had my 36 tudor slant back since 84. Want to put juice brakes on it eventually - moved on to other projects over the last few years. Mostly original in appearance. Need to get a pic to post up....
I'll share my two heaps, the 35 is 100% stock survivor that is staying just the way it is.The 36 is a little ways off before I start on it.My original intent was a 292 y block that I have out of my 57 wagon but that is a bit of a pain in the ass swap.I have some time before I have to decide,I'm sure I'll change my mind a few times, maybe I'll stuff a flatty back into it. I repainted my doors and cowl this spring and fixed a door gap problem. It is good to have it back together and on the road. John L
Sure. Thanks Thanks for asking. I have really enjoyed building the car. Just starting a 53 Chevy Belair Convertible build.
