Purchased from good friend Dad's 1932 a couple of years ago, doing bits a pieces when I get a chance.
Pretty crafty pinch on those front rails. Looking forward to your finish metal work at grille bottom and back for under hood sides.
I put a 35 vic together 5 years ago looked a lot like that cut 12" from the back window and bobbed the back of the body 12" also
Just bought this one back, my dad and I built it about 22 years ago, dad sold it 14 years ago. I bought it back a week ago
I'll bump it... Looking for opinions.. Modifying the rear quarter. I know, one of the main reasons these cars don't go fenderless. Honestly, I'm not for "Bobbing" the rear of the car, it has to much of a slope. It's either this quasi fender fill, or take the body line and follow the radius of the tire, while wrapping the rear of the car around. Or, this lil fender option Did round the top of the door
Sorry 50fraud, havn't, been on for a while. The photos of the 35 are the car now. Can't believe how good it still is, few little marks here and there but that just makes it more useable. X38, I started back on the phaeton last weekend. Also getting stuck into the sons model a roadster pickup.
great 35 flatback had one of those sold it after it fell on me! thought this thing is going to kill me sold it to a mate so I can still drive it when I want hope you enjoy yours
That is a challenge, but you're probably on the right track. I think that the cutaway lower edge behind the tire needs to be finessed a little.
Here's my coupe and my cabrio projects. Shippers lost trunk lid for black coupe....so bought the primer coupe with roof damage so that I could get the trunk lid....it's being transported to shippers just now so won't arrive in Scotland until end of October
