Had it five yrs and love it.. want one as street rod but can't bring myself to change this one because it works so well in my little town. well ive lowered my roadster now, makes quite a difference visually i think, also changed the tyres slightly, 5.50s on the front, 6.50s on the rear. I think if you hadnt seen it before or didnt know it sat quite high then you would never realise its been lowered that little bit. here is before and after shots.
here is some pics of my friends '35 cabriolet being done over here - he only lives 50 miles away, body is in primer, fenders are nearly there though so will be in primer soon, car has a french flathead, thickstun PM7 manifold, twin 97s, fentons. the car will be painted maroon - its going to be one really nice car when its done too. Can anyone send me pics of the inside of a cabriolet showing the roof irons at the very rear of the body - where the rear leg mounts to the body behind the seat?
mike i put mono leafs front and back and that was it, the rear tyres are only a tiny bit bigger being 6.50s as opposed to the 6.00s which were on it. i find the mono leafs a little harder but am going to change the shocks as i dont think the std shocks are working very well.
car was without floors and frame when found here in Italy. Chopped 9 centimeters . Floors completely handmade.Engine will be a 354 Hemi with 4 speed, Buick drum brakes, B body Mopar rear . Some more pics.

50fraud i think it makes the car look much nicer, when i first got it i thought it felt very agricultural becuase of how it sat, the car felt really big too - maybe thats because im only a little fella??? but it feels much bigger than the coupe. adventurer thats a fine lookin project there would be good to see that progress onto the finished article. what are your plans for it? rusty thats a nice lookin 3 window as well..
rusty, how many inches are out of the top? it looks so right I cant make up my mind if its chopped or if im halucinatin....
updated pics of my shed...the eagle eyed will see the hinges are gone.. wasnt an easy desision to make but since I was missing 2 lower hinges due to rust and most of the A posts, the easy ( if I can call it that) option was to re hinge it with hidden hinges..work fine a s well... However its back on ice ( again) while I help a buddy out with his cabrio... being built in fine old trad style..
