  1. Chrisp, it's just over 12 months since I saw that really rough pile. You've come a long way baby!

I think the owner should just color it ........ clear.

    Fantastic job.

I think this goes a bit above the Foster build (IMHO).

I'm sittin' here thinkin' that if you and Flop and Plowboy all ever met at the same place the world would prolly tilt on it's axis from all that talent in one spot.

Thank you all for the comments.
The color of the car should be a very dark metalic maroon or plum, the customer is not 100%sure yet he has to see some samples but he defenitly wants an almost black metalic color.
This car is by far the most modified I've ever build and I love it because it is so traditional looking but with a twist. The small rake give it that hot rod look yet it is a custom. And I'm glad people like it.

If you dont mind me asking, when you built that door skin how did you put the roll in it for the body/belt line?

Yeah, I definitely fee the car's rake is backwards. This car is so beautiful and elegant, I could not justify why it's sitting with an aggressive stance to it. But I am just adding my 2 cents where I clearly have no say. This car's transformation is amazing and you should be proud.

The rake is there only when the car is on the ground, it just happens that this is the way the car sits when the frame hits the ground, there is no way of getting rid of it without cutting up the frame. I talked about it but since it is not my car I'm not the one to have the final say. Eventhough I would have not want it on my car, I think it doesn't look bad and I like it.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! Cant believe I never saw this thread before, I was even following the Citroen build ! Since I might be able to score a wasted 35-36 3 window body thats been at the bottom of a ravine for 50 or so years you have given me some great ideas to try and save it!! Again beautiful!!!!

Paperdog you could have put these 2 pics side by side too since there is more of the sedan in the final coupe than of the original coupe he came with.
