I have purchased a 35 Ford Tudor humpback sedan. I also have a rear half of a 35 four door. I am grafting the two to build a 5-window coupe. I hope somebody will help me out. I am in need of some dimensions of body panels. On a five-window car can someone tell me the length from the door opening back to the centre of the rear axle. I know they all share 112" wheelbase but are there 2 different door lengths as the 40's and 47 48's? Long door and short door concepts? I've read that the 35 five windows use the same doors as the 4 door cars of that year. Thanks for any help from you guys AW1950
Appreciate that my friend, Possible to get the dimensions of your trunk lid as well while your at it ?
At the bottom at the beltline to the middle of the axle housing weld mark is between 43 and 43.25 inches trying to look straight down from the tape measure. The doors at the top beltline are 34.5 inches and at the bottom beltline it is 36 inches. Was the same on both doors. The decklid measure with the tape lying in the middle, up and down, was 30.25 inches and 38 inches side to side in the approximate middle.
That’s great info nosnhojguy. Woulod you indulge me one more measure. I need the measurement from the belt line middle of back window to the trunk opening . Some call it the catwalk area .
Good evening , can someone give me this dimension from their coupe or roadster? Would appreciate it greatly .
