You know me Tom...I like twistin your crank. The Calori coupe is great...I've just never been a big fan of that grille. The '35 grille is so great and unique by itself. I'll search around for the pics of my favorite '35. I think you may have seen it at the GNRS.

Real Cool project! I guess it's starting to thaw out up there? I always wonder what happened to a kid running a badass Black 61 Falcon around Minot in the late 80's. Man that car was just Nasty!

The rubber wasn't too bad to get out with a hammer and screwdriver. The steel is spot welded on so it is a bit more difficult to remove.

Man I would have killed to have a car like your building, and the knowledge and expertise, you have, back when I was your age. Keep up the good work.

I don't think that is going to happen. It will probably be painted and have the trim on it. I do plan on chroming the windshield frame though. Gene said it has a 50/50 chance of being nice enough for chrome.

I actually like the painted grille best, but check out the bull nose on my favorite from above...

Between last night and tonight I got the inner panel of the passenger door taken out and all of the under coating off. Gene roughed a few dents out while I was knocking under coating off. If anyone needs some vintage Ford undercoating I have a whole pile, barely used I would sell real cheap.

Deluxe - chrome grille and windshield frame

Standard - painted grille and windshield frame

Both used the chrome surround and bars like mine and the chrome one above. The chrome one above has had the top emblem holes filled also. I filled the top two but left the one for the Ford emblem.

Pretty hard to find a decent used chrome one. If you watch ebay the painted ones go for gold also. If a person has a fixable one...fix it.

For Kellan... there are some reasonable chrome w/s frames on ebay from time to time.

Not much progress lately. The car is at the blaster but the weather has been bad so he hasnt been able to get it done. It has been snowing here. I woke up to my Comet haveing a small blanket on it.
