My wheel adapters came in today for the rearend. I drilled the rivets out of the door hinges and made them bolt on. I cleaned the door up and I welded up the bullet holes

I read the whole 22 pages, couldn't stop. That dash looks sooo...original! The glove box door is pure genius, looks like Edsel designed it.
My first car was a '36 Three window, I changed it over to '35 grille. Looked more 'classic'.
But I chopped it 5-1/4" in back, and 4-1/2" in front. My Mom said it looked hideous.
Wish I had it to do over again...I'd do it like yours. Subtle. Tasteful.
But I had mine in '56. Wonderful what you're doing.

Tonight I patched the front of the rear wheel well. I got the quarter patch tacked on. The quarter patch didnt come with the door jamb stamped into it so I had to make that from scratch.

Look at those 2 3-windows together

Tom's may not hold air but I notice you still have them on the front. You could get them fixed so they hold air!!!:D

I repaired the front cowl leg tonight. I also got the cowl patch tacked on and the door jamb made. I also put the license plate back on. I put Gene's wheels on the front and I shimmed the cowl so that the door lines up better

I suppose you'll have Gene's tires on for the shop tour rod run weekend? Good ......just bring my tires and wheels back with you and I'll take them home. :) Or take your dad's advise!!

I got my hubcaps in today. I put the windshield frame on. I also put all of the fenders and running boards and grille back on. I DAed the fenders and grille. I am mocking the car up for a Rod Run this weekend

I picked up an original radiator today in pretty good shape. I got it put in. I also made it so that I can screw the inner door in and out.

Tonight I rebuilt the door latch. I started by blasting it. I then used the torch and heated the tabs that hold it together and bent them open. I then blasted everything inside of it. I built up the latch since it was messed up. I painted everything inside. I then put anti-seize on all the moving parts. I used the torch and heated the tabs to bend them back over. I then painted the outside and put it in the car. Borrowed a door handle from Gene and I buffed it. I also set the decklid skin in the hole

My dad picked my car up and took it home for the weekend for a garage tour. The man looking at the car in the first picture is Bill who gave me the car. That picture is the first time he has seen the car since it left his yard. He brought his '35 3-window so we had to get some pictures together. The last picture you can see my dad's '27 roadster and my '41 pu and TomH's rpu parked out front.
