Should look great with the replacement door. Can't wait to see it with all the body patches done.

Last night I pick and filed the upper skin from the 3-window door. Tonight I welded the inner frame together. I then twisted and tweaked the door to get the front gap close. I then shimmed the cowl to get the beltlines to line up close in the rear. I then plasma cut the top of both doors off. I ground the edges to where I wanted them. I cleaned up the rust on the inner and outer. I then put a heavy coat of paint on them. I then tacked the 2 together. I will weld it up tomorrow night

Outstanding job on that skin splice! I had thought you were pretty brave cutting it right on the style line, but that worked great tigging it from the back side...nicely done.

Awsome work as usual. Add the inner skin and lower patch and it will look like a whole new door.

Today I realized that the back edge of the door had a different curve from the quarter. Uppon inspection we realized that the inner fram had a different curve than the 3-window did. I cut that piece out and replaced it with the original from the 3-window. I also got the lower door patch welded on. I will finish straightening the skin tomorrow.

Today I pick and filed the whole door skin. I repaired the bottom foot on the door frame. I painted the backside of the door skin with POR. I started to repair the inner panel.
