a guy had a 32 ford 2dr sedan at louisville swap meet this past march ....he had a picture of it where all you could see were the rear frame horns .....he said he dug a little and found the tank was attached....a little more and the rear body panel ....had all of these pictures as he dug.....there was a complete 32 sedan ....and it was upside down .....the only real damage was to the top area from the drip rails up.......he sold the shell only for 2500 bucks .......so anything is worth diggin' up........hahah but the pics were worth the time to look ....it was a neat deal .......brandon

If the timing's right for an exhuming party, I'll gladly strap a shovel to the back of my scooter and ride out there from CA just to get in on the action! A buddy and I pulled a '32 Ford deuce-and-a-half out of a less desperate situation (only up to the axles) a few years ago and with one spark plug, some oil and gas, she fired the first day and drove down the street. And the guy parked it before he went to Viet Nam!

No, I didn't do a property owner search over Memorial Day weekend, but I will if anybody is REAL serious about digging this old crate up.

Hot & dry is my kind of weather, probably be that way through the end of August, we can dig it anytime...

Get to doing that property search, Cyclone needs a 35 delivery to haul them parts in. Man I'll buy my own shovel when I get out there to dig it up from the local hardware store. I was hanging around P-woods when Thom Taylor did the Americruiser 35/6 for the 1st Americruise back in 93 when we all drove out to Springfield via Nebraska so I'm sure we drove right past it & never ever knew it.
I'll be drive out & get it.;) pm me fordy 6

Man! I grew up in Nebraska and have good menories of spots here and there all over the state where cars were stashed that I saw as a kid. Always thought I would get back there with my mental treasure map and dig em up.

But...NOoooo. Jerks like you keep finding them and blabin' about it to the whole world. Used to be that you could get the car for free if you just offerd to help the land owner out by hauling off "that old junk."

    I'm bummed out.

I'd be up for helping out on this one.
    When's the dig?
Shoot, if you need someone to say they'll buy it in order to start this project, then I'll buy it...
    How's that?

I've got a pair of nice doors from a Tudor that I'd sell at a fair price if that will help get this out of the ground.:D

    Awwww...too bad.
I was really hoping to see this one get pulled out this fall!
If I were in the area I'd HAVE to know if it was rebuildable...so the shovels would be out for sure. Even a "test" pit to check out one side.

That could be one cool rig to build...especially with the rescue pics as a bonus.

Come on Restorit...don't IGNORE it!!! LoL

I was going to try to acquire it last summer with Fordy 6's help, but told me that by the time he got back out there to see the family, they were all gone. :( I can only pray that someone saved it and it wasn't just bulldozed into a giant hole.
