Hello there, new guy from Saskatchewan. Started a '46 chev pickup 6 yrs ago when I was 17, got lots done but then university came along and it's been sitting for 5 yrs. with no place or time to work on it. Anyways, graduating in two months and can't wait to get back at it (when it warms up anyways). I don't like anything new or expensive, so this pickup will be built low on cash but high on character. The rods on this site are what it's all about, to hell with Boyd Coddington. Future plans are to build a ladder bar/airbag rear, (front is firebird clip, would've preferred a dropped axle but the 'bird was free), replace the bed wood, finish the bodywork, build up a 283 or 327 and 4spd, wire it and drive it around in whatever colour primer I can afford to spray on it. I like 'em low, fast, and the only trailer it will ever see is maybe one behind it. Look forward to advice from the pro's. Jeff
