can anyone tell me the best way to fit dipstick to a new 290hp crate motor,i had trouble years ago fitting one to an 010 block, man it was tight?????cheers adrian
slide an open end wrench around the tube, at the base(usually a 7/16ths" wrench does the trick) and tap the wrench with a hammer to seat the tube into the block. Works like a champ for me.
