350 problems help

I got a 51 styleline with a sbc 350 and recently i notice small traces of oil in da radiator but no antifreeze on da oil ,da car temperature goes from 200 to 220 and da mechanic told me that was normal that dont worry but im still worried any sugestions?

 

Have you done a compression test yet? I'd be doing a leak down test to see if there's a bad head gasket.

 

make shure it is not trany fluid the rad cloor might be leaking if it is in the rad had it happon to me

 

Drain the water flush, refill and see if it returns. Before you start taking it apart. Good luck.

Has it been worked on lately ?

 

A little oil goes a long way. Even on systems that get flushed with ERF, oil tends to come back.

Da Da I need help - yep, do as told above and get back to us. as for running on the warm side check/replace thermostat while at it.
