350 tuning problems. Backfires and pops, runs rough.

    if not the plastic plug wire markers , A sharpie and writing on the wire or boot itself is less noticable but helps , I had my fair share of brainfarts being in a hurry , and onetime it cost me a race by the good ole 5-7 cross , it will run ( sluggishly) and not backfire just lays down at higher rpms . I was atributing the hard starting and running to the 100 degree weather I was racing in . wasn't till I got the car home and was looking at it I realized what I did .

    Oh man! That would have me pulling my hair out haha. That's rough. The sad thing is I do have the boots marked with a sharpie, I was just in a rush and wanted to get the car ready for this weekend and completely disbeliebed the idea of having the wrong firing order. I guess you live and learn. Now I know from experience what a motor that has crossed wires will sound and feel like.
