I have a 351 C that I am working on for my 51 ford f-1. Where the old mechanical fuel pump was....the top mount was a bolt the bottom mount was a nut with a stud in the block. The stud broke off. My question is...Does any ony know if that stud is screwed in (regular or reverse thread?) or is it pressed in??

I need to drill and extract it. Just wanna make sure of what it is before I screw something else up....

  3. I'm pretty sure its a screw in deal. The cleavland I had in my Mach 1 had two bolts, that bottom one was not fun!!

That is correct. use a left hand bit to drill it and if your good ( or lucky ) when the bit grabs it will spin the broken remains out. Then chase the threads and install a new one.
