Just wondering if there's any 3 or 4 carb intakes available for the 351 cleveland. I haven't seen a single one. If so any pictures? I might have a chance to grab a '70 but not sure yet. I love that multi carb look. Any help appreciated. Thanks
So far as I know, the only thing available was/is a Weber intake....I don't know if it can still be found. I didn't see anything in a quick search for it, & I suspect you aren't looking for Webers. However, Price Motorsport http://www.pricemotorsport.com/ makes adapters for both the 2V & 4V heads that will allow you to use 302 & 351W intakes....Blue Thunder makes a 3x2 intake for the 289/302. I believe that the 2V adapters use the 289/302 intakes, the 4V adapters use the 351W intake....might want to check that first. It seems to me that there was a XE (experimental) 3x2 intake for the 351C, but I'd bet it's impossible to find. Could always use a 351C tunnel ram, too.
1970 351C 4V motor with a tunnel ram and 2 450 holleys; you could use a 2X4V intake and run the 2X2V adapters, ending up with 4 2bbl carbs. I thought about doing that on top of my tunnelram, but got a killer deal on the carbs so I went with them.
a cleveland looks right with a tunnel ram, but would be kind of weird with any other type of multiple carburetion. Get a flatty or a Y block if you want to run three deuces on a ford
Yes on clevelands 2bbl heads have different ports than the 4bbl....in my experience with these motors the 2bbl heads are faster off the line.. For multi carb apps, I am pretty partial to the Inglese setup for the clevelands.
I'm not certain whether or not it's still available....it's not listed under products, either as a system or as a manifold. It is in their "catalog" (brochure), as a single line...but that's fairly old, I believe. Never hurts to give 'em a call.
