    Hi guys and gals,
I've been having issues with my gasoline boiling over at the filter. The motor is a modified 400 from a 1974 ltd. I've noticed a port on the intake, does anybody know what this is? ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1440102649.083563.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1440102667.550722.jpg

Little hard to see but it looks like where the stove for the automatic choke would go if you were using one.

Yeah, that's the choke stove. One end of the tube connects to the air cleaner, the air gets heated by a coil of tube in the exhaust crossover, then goes into the choke housing. Looks like the open port to the left of the electric connector, but the picture is kind of dark.

Here is one connected. This one is hot air only, no electric, but many Fords used both.
