1957 354 truck engine originally in an evacuation bus in and underground mine. When pulled from bus it had 19,000 miles on it. Block was checked, all was good and showed no wear in cylinders, crank was like new. Cylinders were honed and new cam bearings and freeze plugs were installed. Engine was rebuilt with all new parts, 9:1 pistons and ring, bearings, cam (450 lift, 280 dur.), rod, head, and main bolts, 340 oil pump, Milodon gear drive, hardened valve seats, stainless valves, valve guides, adjustable push rods, lifters, valve springs, etc.. Heads wear shaved .020 to offset thicker head gaskets. Weiand 2x4 intake with 2 Edelbrock carbs and progressive linkage, Weiand water pump, balancer and pulleys, rechromed valve covers. Engine runs great but I am having transmission problems (leak), so engine has to come out and I don’t what to put that engine back in that car. I hate to get rid of it because finding another early Hemi that has not had the block or crank cut could be nearly impossible, but I hate to see it sit in the corner of the garage for years. Any other questions just let me know. Also includes adaptor to 727 trans.
