354 with new style transmission? 5.7l

i own a 354 hemi and was wondering if anyone has made the new transmission like the ones that came out on the 2003-2004 hemi trucks work. if i remember right the converter pilot bearing is bigger on the new trans? and the distance from crank to converter is wrong? sounds like if someone could make an adapter....doesnt seem like it would take much

 

The mechanical would be easy. Getting to to shift is a whole other can of worms. Do you see that big multi-pin connector on the side? That's your problem....

 

you might need a computer to shift that thing.
