Sorry falconsprint63. Car has been put aside for a few months whilst I build my wife's 40th birthday present, an early falcon wagon. Bought a Falcon hit in the rear, stripped to a shell, just about finished repairs and getting ready for paint. Couple of picks attached. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
very nice body work! will be a classy kustom. I prefer the left side, kinda original look of the box, myself
still working on the falcon at present, but spent half a day playing with the 36. Have a 36 pickup bar coming for the back, but want to run bumperettes for the front like the image posted earlier from Instagram. Cut up an old bumper and welded 2 ends together to keep the 36 rolled ends. Used two outer brackets, cut the inner one short to fit bumper. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

Havn't completely forgot ton the car, just busy still building the wife's Falcon, just about ready for paint. View attachment 2193063 Also busy at work. Been finishing off a 36 phaeton for a customer which is just about ready View attachment 2193064 and on top of that we are finishing off body and paint on a customers 36 pickup. however I did get my 36 pickup rear bumper this week to go on the back of my phaeton. Also a good mate built me a stainless fuel tank for my phaeton. Holds an extra 20 liters of fuel than the original. Will be a shame to paint it. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Not sure why the images of 36 pheaton we painted didn't attach so I will try again. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Great transformation so far. Rikster's renderings show how much subtle changes can alter the overall finished product and aesthetics that are pleasing to the eye. Just pick your era. I personally like the look created by OEM hood bows like my 35' Chevy.
Finally got the Falcon finished, time to get back and work on the 36. Mounted rear bar and shortened brackets. Think it will look much better without the spare wheel. View attachment 2864985
Loves the Falcon, been sorting out a few little bugs but from next week she will be driving it daily Couple more pics for those that are interested.
Your wife's wagon turned out sweet. The interior looks fantastic, I've always liked the ribbed centre console on the early falcons Cheers Paul
few pictures of the phaeton we painted a while back at work. Finally all together and running. Had to do a couple of minor touch ups and pulled a pinstripe on ready for the concourse.
