  1. Very Sweet Ride!

  2. Stance is just right on; not too low. What size tires and wheels are you using??

  3. VERY NICE! Really like the color combos, the chop is just right, overall......PERFECT!!

  4. Like your color choice, both interior and exterior. Stance-you nailed it. You've got to be proud..it's a beauty!

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

    I'm running BF Goodrich radials.

    Rears are 235/70 x 15 on 7" rims

    Fronts are 185/70 x 15 on 6" rims

    Chased down some rattles.

Put the 1940 Ford Standard hub caps and matching ribbed trim rings on.

Going to the upholstery guy tomorrow.

Should have a new interior and sound system in 6-8 weeks.

Wish you could see this dark blue color in person!

Thats sexy! Love the color and the fact that it's not overly done. Good job.

What a great job, I can't believe how simuliar it is to mine, same chop, almost same color. I extended my trunk 18", and one piece hood. I am still learning how to get pictures moved around, I guess you'll have to go to my albumn. Great work

The upholstery and sound system work has been completed.

The guys at Finish Line Interiors in Santa Clara, CA did a beautiful job.

The upholstery material is red wine/maroon leather.

The carpet is dark blue Germany wool square weave.

The headliner is red wine/maroon 100% wool broadcloth, just like Henry used.

There is plenty of built-in storage and a movable/removable cup holder for my wife.

The sound system head unit is mount under the seat with just the detached face mounted in the 2 " deep glove box. Those A/C evaps take up a lot of room behind the dash.

This is the first time I did not install my own sound system.

I have a couple of small tasks left to do and then it's time to really start driving the beast. It goes pretty good.

Here are some photos of the interior.

The color in the photos is different (more red than maroon) than in person.

It's been a four year plus build and my wife is still smiling. She is a saint.

I hope you like the car.

Maybe see you at Plesanton Good Guys this spring or summer.

The rain finally stopped here in the Bay Area so I took the old Ford out for some exercise. It drives really nice, especially since I chased down a very annoying noise, which turned out to be a bad ball joint.

While waiting for a buddy to show up at his house last week I took a few photos.

    Hope you like them.
