Here is some more. Cut the hell out of a 36ish? international harvester. NOT A TRACTOR! Also began to reinstall the factory dash. It was replaced with a lifeless chunk of stainless steel.
got some moe done to the truck today. I still have afew more things to do before the day is over. I was having trouble finding room for the pedals. Needed to get all 3 in there with little to no room. So here is the result so far. I still have linkage to build for the brakes and clutch. But progress none the less.
Tomorrow I should have the heim joints and brake linkage in so you can get a better idea of what the final product will look like.
Looks like a fun build that will be a really nice rod when it's finished. She's lookin' slick. keep up the killer work!
are you puttin a bed on it? and i love the front suspension, i would have never thought of doing that.
update. I will finish the floor as soon as we get the cab mounts made so I can do the clutch linkage. Should be even cooler than the brake assy!
Looks cool so far. This is one of my favorites off the HAMB, it's up in the Pacific Northwest, if I remember right. Similar year (I think this one is a 35, so the doors will be different) but I think it's got the right "look". It's slightly R-R ish, but with shiny paint I think it'd be a swell ride. Can't wait to see the one you're working on finished. Thanks for the post. JK Crap, I can't post the pic cause it's not hosted. PM me if you'd like to see it.
This WILL BE a finished one. Silver metallic with red lines and white/redstitches/piping. Will be sweet when finisehd.
this will most likely change. To large IMO. But you get the idea. Got the cab mounts done to just no pix of it yet.
DAVE WTF is up dude!? How are things!? Still got the sport coupe? This is his truck. Should be pretty cool in the long run.
next thing is rebuilding the rear stake pockets cuz it looks like someone crushed them with a fork lift, and get a tailgate on it .
that truck is bad ass, makes me want to trow my crap away and start over, love the leaning tower of power!would love to see close up pictures of that pedal assbley.did you pattern it after some thing else. how does the linkage for the brake work. was thinking about going to manual trans but no room for pedals till i seen yours.great build. im inspired thanks
I built it all from scratch. The pedal assy is a little difficult. There are several points of movement for the brake pedal assy. Thanks for the kind words.
