Hello- I have a stock 36' 5w with nice gum dipped 6.0-16 tires on it. However, I would like to drop it a bit for a nicer stance. It appears most axles are a 4" drop which I think is a bit heavy for these wheels/tires. Has anybody played with this similar configuration? Any suggestions on how far i can go without major clearance issues? thx
Use. It's a 4" drop axle. It won't lower it 4" Try the drop axle first for about 2" then if you need more. ...a reverse eye spring will get you another 1"
Get the original axle dropped to whatever height you wish, cheaper than a new one, real Ford steel and a hell of a lot cooler than aftermarket shit! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
When we drop a 36 axle, it will narrow each side about 1 inch, this will give the needed fender clearance...Aftermarket 4 inch dropped axle is about a 2 inch drop over a stock 36 axle....
