I'm using a walker radiator in mine. With the p*** side head just kissing the firewall, I had to heavily modify my water pump. Cut the shaft down and mount the pulley on the back side of the hub. Also had to lower the steering box to clear the manifold. Major PITA. But it works well and made the trip to Bonneville and back, and no problems since I put it together in 2008. Let me know if you need pics or measurements of anything.

    Yep...staying a 5 window.
I thought the only way I could be happy is to have a 3 window or a roadster...
    Shows how much I know...:D

Looking good so far. Gonna put a 331 caddy in my 36 so watching how you are doing will be great help. Are you going for Hotrod style or custom?

    Kenneth.

Mine is going to be a hotrod. I have nothing against customs, I just have always wanted a hotrod 36 Ford coupe!!!
The Stance on the roadster pictured here, is what I am going after...Black wall Firestones and 17" artillery wheels.

Thanks! I felt the same way at first! With solid hood sides, it's line of a shame to hide it in there. But I know its there!

Just like from my mouth. I´m just collecting parts to my 3 window and start it after I get my current under the construction project drivable.

I will follow your building tread!

Congrats nitro******, you are starting from a verrrrrrrrrry low point - it is more like a 36 coupe kit, but you are off to a great start.
Subscribed and looking forward to following along on this one. I figure it's going to take a while, but only 'cause of the size of the mountain you have chose to climb.
Good luck and I hope you have fun along the way.
    Cheers.

The trunk gutter and deck lid inner is super solid. Now I have every piece I need to repair the body.

Not working me too hard, but I have this cool 34 ford pickup that has been receiving a lot of my attention. I will post pictures of 36 progress soon too!

36 drop/ column lock. I freeded it up and rebuilt it...my advise is pay the 3 or $400 they want for a fully restored one with a Hurd key. I have way too many hours into that *****.
