Anyone out there ever replaced the rocker panels in a '36 Ford 3W or 5W coupe? I have to do that and am wondering if anyone other than EMS makes these replacement panels. I am concerned about the quality/accuracy/fit/function of the EMS panels as I have gotten one bad report from an individual in the trade who used them. I'd like to hear from someone who has used them, and your experience with them, and if you are aware of any other manufacturer of these replacement panels. TIA

I started to use EMS rocker panels on my 36 Coupe. The fit and authenticity were poor. Switched to the 8 piece set hand formed by McPerson Auto. You can buy all 8 pieces or any piece you need. The only way to go. Give them a call. Good Luck. McPherson Auto Steve ph.# 620-241-7096 <O 8 piece subrail/rocker repair panels, both sides
I have both McPherson is better but you still are going to have to weak them to fit. At present no one else makes them but another is coming in the future.
our rockers fit fine, there will be some minor trim to fit issue's depending on the floor pans used, it is not likely that your rockers are gone and the floors are ok, there are 4 major mfg of floors each for a different market segment hot rod vs oem resto. this is not any different than other parts most guys are satisfied and the few who always seem to have problems. some of the other companies make a fine product as do we. some are just trying to compete in the market also, but do not know how to market there products. we stand behind our products, we label them with our name, most do not! and we are accesable to the customer ( we answer the phone and return your calls). we do not hide who we are. we do not charge your visa until the day we ship your parts. we absorb any damge by ups not you. we have gotten big in the hobby, the elephant is a easy target the ems guy
