The inside windshield molding on my 36 coupe has 2 cutouts in front of the hinges they are facing out and look terrible I have noticed some on eBay and they don't have those cutouts , are they supposed to be there ?

  3. How about demist vents for a heater to blow onto the gl*** ?. Don,t think you can mount them backwards.

The garnish need the notches to permit the hinges to swing. I don't think they much showed behind the windshield frame. I have a couple sets of moldings with variation in the notch; one has a simple notch, the other is formed and recessed. I also had a set of early '35 moldings, that didn't have a flange. Maybe find set of them if the flange with the notches doesn't work for you.
