The museum will be open Thurday 5-9, Friday and Saturday 9-9, and Sunday 12-4. Here is the website to check out this and other events.

The weather was perfect and the cars were running. Well atleast until one of the guys lost control and ran into my car which made another car behind them go through the guard rail. Having to fix the rail stopped the running today but they will be back at it tomorrow and the 37 will be back as well. I pushed the quarter out already but need to take some hardware out with me tomorrow and fix the fender.

The metalmeet was great and I got schooled on more metal working skills. If you get a chance to go to a metal meet do it, it will save on the amount of worthless tools you may buy along with seeing someone elses way of shaping. They had some great guys sharing their skills with anyone wanting to try it out.

That old coupe seemed to be getting around okay. That is very unfortunate the car was damaged. Hopefully it is okay for tomorrow. I will personally be there to help about 830 AM.

Fatabone- It was great to meet you and chat for a bit at the meet. We were able to fire off my car after everyone left.

How was sunday? It was pouring when I woke up.

jtm64...you must have a magnet in your *** that attracts out of control cars.

joe...good meeting you also. We were packing up while you were firing the car. It sounded like the injection was giving you a fit...Did you get it to run?
It only rained a little and cleared up by track time.

SUHRsc...I kicked the quarter back out but I didn't have the tools to get the fender back into shape to run. We took it off the car today and I'll beat back into shape tomorrow. While the fender is off I'm just going to repair the quarter for real not just tin riveted to it like before. I hope to have it at Lincoln Speedway at the end of the month for the WGOT.

Hey Junior, Good to see you there, hated to hear about the car, come to Oblong, Il. in October, spend the week, you will be happy you did! Your metal was locked up in the "room" there next to the pavillion we were at. Never did see Clark..... did some one forget to bail him out???

If you haven't been to the Emmr convention make plans for next year, it's a super event! and let's not forget the Jalopy Showdown!!!! tt
