37 38 chevy frame ?

    sorry if this has been asked before i did a search & couldnt find anything , does anyone know if a 37 38 chevy truck & sedan frame are the same ?are if they will interchange ? thanks

    No they are not, the pickup frame is an open channel while the car frame is boxed. Nothing is the same.

    Only Ford, to my knowledge, used similar frames on cars and pickups from 1925(first pickup bed pickup)through 1941. Starting in 42 the pickup and car frames would never be the same again.

    Agree. To add a bit more specific info, the truck is a C-channel and car is an enclosed hat cross section.
