After a lot of time, effort, some money, alot of frustration, my 1937 Buick 320 Straight 8, with the homemade dual carb intake and exhaust is making some noise on it's own! I'd guess its been 50+years since this car has made any noise, and after working on it the last 6years or so, its breathing to life! Stromberg Big 97's feeding into a Porter steel pack. I have some dialing it in but im real happy!

I just love seeing intake and exhaust manifolds that people make in their garages and shops. That is what hot rodding is all about.

this is the last time it was outside, the nose came down a little when i started loading things up, and evened out how it sat a bit, but i do like that its a big car and will probably stay around that height for awhile

Without any math to back it up, i felt like there was going to be maybe too much intake plenum volume, so i made a little recess for the underside. This also sort of seperates, but keeps intake runners/ balance tubes between the carbs

Used some expandable rubber freeze plugs and a radiator pressure tester to pressure test the intake and make sure there werent going to be a bunch of leaks

Cerakoted Satin Aluminum to give it a cast look

Wicked... I worked for a diehard Buick nut back in the late '80's, he had a '37 coupe a**** several others... he loved that straight eight.
