Anybody got a picture of a 37 Chevy Master Deluxe from the back? Trying to figure out how to add a backup light. I've found a couple of pictures of what claim to be 37 Chevy backup lights, but nothing showing them actually on a car.

Well, that explains it! At $2.50, very few were sold. I'll take a pair for my '37.;)

those back up light are pretty common at swap meets. I sold a nice pair for $60 recently and just bought a set of military black out lights that use the same housing and bezel.

Hmm. "... base of the left tail lamp." Ok, so that kinda answers my question, but I'd still like to see a picture of this. Looking at my tail lamps, that doesn't look like it would fit very well.

39s had quite different tail lamps than 37s.

'37-'38 used a stamped "sandwich" bracket between the taillight & cast mount. The BU lamp is under the tail.
