According to the 1937 Engineering Features book I have, the '37 1/2T front tread width is 56-3/8", while the 1-1/2T is 58-1/16" wide.

The fenders have different part numbers, so most likely not interchangable.

  3. The 3/4, 1, and 1 1/2 ton models all share the same cab and doors. Thats where the simularities end. Beyond that the front fenders, grills, hoods, and frames are all streched and supersized to fit the tall ties and oversized radiators for pulling the heavy loads. Hope this helps you some. Also check out stovebolt.com, they have some info on these trucks and a gallary dedicated to early Chevy trucks.

While trying to find good steel fenders for my 37 1/2 ton I found a few NOS fenders for the big trucks, from what I have seen the opening for the wheel is larger on the big truck fenders then on the 1/2 tons. I never found any good steel 1/2 ton fenders and went with fiberglass. Jeff
