37 Dodge Pick-up "pick-up"

Hey!!! How about some help pickin'-up my pick-up? I really like to drive my truck, but with the original drivetrain, it is struggling to do 45MPH. It would be nice to travel at a reasonable speed. I think a higher gear ratio rear-end would do the trick. What's out there that would bolt in?

 

Find yourself an overdrive ******. Mopar used them from the 30's till the early 50's. Bolts right up to your old 6.

Alternatively, a Ford 8" out of an 80's Grenada was the right width for my '38 Chrysler. Might fit your truck too with moving the spring pads. Mine was cheap & came with 3.0 gears.
