37 Ford Convertible windshields in sedans

I'm interested in changing my '37 Ford slantback's front gl***. I want to remove the swing out windshields and install a divider in the center like a sw or a convertible. I have the split rear window divider from the same year Ford to use. I'm not sure how to modify the opening to make the open car windshield gasket fit. Any one have ideas?
