37 Ford Firewall mods to fit a SBC ?

    anyone have any pics of firewall mods in order to fit a sbc ? i know the distributor is the only thing that won fit as far as i know....any help would be great before i start hacking away.

    With a standard non HEI type distributor, you shouldn't need to modify anything. That's ***uming the mounts are in correctly.

    stand on the cowl, take a sledgehammer and make a big ****ing dent in the middle of the frewall. dist in a SBC will fit now

    I'd change out the dizzy before I made a firewall modification. They fit great with the right distributors.

    Yep. The one in my avitar has an uncut firewall with an SBC & dual points mallory distributor.

    But if you wanna see a really nice example. Check out Jeffrey James build thread. SBCs all fit the same in 35-40..

    Oh stop CVSTL!!! If it weren't from you guys I would have installed it backwards and it would have never run because the torque tube would have been duct taped to the harmonic balancer.
