I came across a narrowed '37 Ford Truck grill and am seriously thinking of installing it on my '32 3W. I have seen pics of George Poteet's '34, and remember a couple of others, but can't find much reference. Anybody got any pics, either full fendered or open wheel??

The black coupe has a Fordson/ Thames grille, but is a similar look. I say go for it. :)

Take a look at Jim Jacobs yellow '34 chopped 3w for reference as to how cool a '37 truck grille can look.

When I built my old RPU I was worried the angled grill wouldn't work with the straight cowl. In the end it worked. Doubt it would have looked as good without a hood.

  5. Hey gbgh,

There are a lot of pics in Cool Cars Square Roll Bars of cars with 37 grills. They seemed to be real popular on East Coast cars.

Here are some pics of Paul Fitzgerald's 37 nosed 32. Kustombuick and A32Flathead took these shots out in Pebble Beach.
