Projects '37 Olds Gets A Creature Comfort

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by smittyshotrods, Jan 28, 2009.

  1. My '37 Olds has served me well and I plan a makeover in the near future which will include some interior changes. I have sat on these old 1936 Chevy springs for 15 years now with foam and pillows and every thing else to try to make it somewhat comfortable. I finally have a 1937 Olds front seat with some comfort now. I still need the rear seat track mounts that bolt to the floor if any of you guys have any shoot me a PM.

Thanks again to ryno and rich for all their efforts in making this possible!

    Nice!

Good seats are always a must!

  4. Looks like a very comfortable car. I had a '37 Two door sedan a few years ago. It had the 6 cilinder grille. They sure are big cars.

  7. Hey Denise, I'm in touch with my feminine side. :D LOL No actually it is purple but the flash on the camera is making it look pink.

Thanks everyone for the comments! It is a fun car and I'll probably have it forever.

Wow, I bought a 37 just like that one about 10 years ago,,,

It is rusting away in the place where I used to live in SE Arizona, First reasonable offer takes it... :)

I am thinking that the grille alone might be worth close to that much... to someone anyway...

It is just a shame to see it go that way, but I don't have time for it and probably never will. I have projects stacked up, and the Olds ain't even on the list...
