no it will not work, 35/36 is a different body, 37 pontiac converts are kind of rare, and it is probally a fltatback with a trunk lid? 37/38 pontiac's are the same, some 39's will share some stuff. i ***ume it is a usa bult car, canada is different again,

if you dont like the look of the car i would suggest selling it and getting something you like

  3. Such a rare car I'd be redoing it as a 37 rag mild custom.

It's a four door convertible? That's a super rare car, the information I have indicates there are only a few of them known to exist.

Well, I ***ume that since the garage is for sale, you now have more time for surfing the Internet???? Welcome to the HAMB, and if you haven't done it yet, take a ride out to Engler's in Nuangola. There was a mid-30's Pontiac out there about a year ago, at least you can get some measurements (if he hasn't s****ped everything yet).

I have a copy of John Gunnell's book on Pontiac that was written in 1982. Production breakout numbers weren't available for the different body styles back then but he indicates they were very limited production...he said there were five examples known to remain, three Sixes and two Eights (and remember that was nearly 30 years ago.) Of course that doesn't mean there aren't more of them around, but I can't imagine very many more of them have come out of the woodwork in the meantime.

Check with the Pontiac club POCI.org for production information.

Unfortunately, there isn't any information available from anyone on production numbers for a car that old. All that's really known is the total production for the year - 179,244 Sixes and 56,945 Eights. All of Pontiac's data prior to 1961 was lost in a fire many years ago. Pontiac Historical Services can provide more exact information on cars newer than that.
