I need some help. I have a 1960 olds 88 with a 371 engine. am looking at putting 3x2 or 6x2 maniflold on this motor. but am told that some earlier year 371 is diff. and that 394 are the same. I am getting alsorts of conflicting info. Is anyone out there with the correct info so I don't spend money on something that won't fit.

Offenhauser still makes a 3x2 for all the early rockets if I'm not mistaken, so it's just a matter of ordering it.

You need an intake for '59-'64 engines. The '57-'58 371s had a shorter deck height.

Heathen is correct, deck height is different.

They do still make 'em, right? Do you have a list of the stuff they still make or can still get??

I can still get the Offenhauser 3x2 manifold for the later 371 engine. The manifold can be ordered for the 3 bolt Stromberg/Holley carbs or drilled for the 4 bolr small base Rochester 2GC carbs with side fuel inlet. I can also get valve covers, and breathers.
