Alright, I have come to this. I need the engine gone. I have found something else to take it's place for now. 350/350.

How much is this thing worth (including the hydramatic) in its current stuck condition?

Why is it stuck? 371s are cool, but that Jetaway is worth less than s****, IMO.

3 of the pistons are stuck. They all 3 are pitted and 1 of the cylinders has rust.

I don't have the money nor storage to fix it.

Too bad so far away, I would take it off your hands. 371's, especially 59's (which are really 394s debored ) are a strong *** engine. Really strong with J2 setup (3 2's). But that Jetaway trans must go! Had a 60 371 (with 59 pistons, cam, and 4bbl) hooked to dual range hydro in a 62 Nova. Fast car, will take on your 350 x2 any day!

I have to agree with Yorg, the engine you have is STUCK and rusted cylinder. The trans is of no real value, seriously most everyone would use an adpater and a modern GM turbo automatic for cheaper than rebuilding that trans. Your engine and trans would be a good set-up for parts is about all. Sorry to break your thoughts about it being a real valuable set-up. While the Olds engine is a potential to be strong runner, yours is not a runner and will need complete rebuild. It might fetch $100, but not really much chance for more.

I bought a complete OG 371 with j-2 setup and correct carbs (no air cleaner) for $275. The engine itself was completely dis***embled but complete.

I think I got a good deal but nothing too outlandish.
