I recently picked up an old small journal 327, that has a 3.625” stroke forged crank. I can’t find any real identification marks as to what brand it may be. I thought here would be the best place to get answers.

Forgedtrue pistons was sold in the early eighties after making pistons since the late forties. The crankshaft is probably a welded stroker that made from a OEM 327 forging. Quite popular back in that era, I used one I got from Reath Automotive in my drag race 63 Nova. Those cranks were prone to cracking so get it checked out before using.

I pulled the motor apart to check it out. The crank is a Crank Shaft Co crank. Has CSC stamped on the front counterweight. IMG_1494.jpeg
