38-39 ford hood on a 46 cab

    will it fit? sombody ahs gotta know. i know that 35-36 are the same, 37 is a one yearer,38-39 are the same, and 40-47 are the same, but i dont know if a 38-39 hood will go on a 46. im not gonna use the fenders, just hood, grille, maybe hood sides. help me out here, dont want to buy the cab and not be able to use the stuff i want.

    I know a 40/41 front doesn't fit on a 39 Pickup without cutting it up, so it's a pretty good bet that the other way around isn't gonna be a bolt-on either.

    how much do you modify em to get it to fit? shouldnt be to hard to make somthin work for a hood, if im usin a 39 grille and a 46 cab,eh?

    Dunno - never tried it. Maybe you can use a 40/41 or 46 hood that fits the cowl and cut-down/reshape the front to fit the grille ?
