Projects 38 chev

    Well got some time so, thought I would post up my project.Model A frame I got from preacher & knucklehead, z'ed front & back 4'' drop superbell,and a 2'' drop spring. The rear has a high arch buggy spring made some brackets to keep it low, rear end is ? heavy duty 8 lug hubs & full floater axles. Cab is 38 chevy chaneld 6'' or so will chop it after everything else is done and it's a driver , oh yah 283 chev w/th400. if any body knows what the rear end is , I'd love to know,thanks for looking

    Truck looks awesome man! I have a 40 chevy p/u that I just started on, and it's my first pre 60's build. I have the stock frame (great shape), can I use that for a spring behind? Also, what front end did you use? I know that is probably a dumb question, but like I said, this is new to me. The way your truck is set up, is exactly the stance I'm after, so I thought I'd ask yas. Thanks man.

    Dmfb, my front axle is a 4'' drop(superbell) from speedway motors.they have most everything you will need axle,spring,cross member,radius bars that's were most all of my stuff is from.and thanks for the comment..

    sweet it did work..little update got the 283 & th350 in, new trans mount.
    now I have to figure out the steering. later
