What do you guys think of this '38 Chevy. My friend bought it for a steal, but I don't know...It looks off to me. Aside from the wheels and color, what do you guys think?

Too street rodish for my taste......dump the wheels & lower the thing.
    Otherwise it's O.K.

    Good looking cars, those Chevys.

I think it's too high in general, lower it front and back but retain the rake it has going on. Different wheels for sure, maybe just steel with caps or chrome steels? Wide whites would look good. I don't hate the color, but if he wants to keep it that color maybe some striping to break up all that blue? What does the interior look like?

The interior is mint...Only problem is, its all billit accents (column, steering wheel, pedals, handles, shifter...)!!!! Upolstery is all new, tan leather. It is sitting on the dreaded S10 frame. It has a 4.3 Chevy V-6 (carb), with a 350 TH. Good runner, but not my style either. I think he really liked it until he showed it to me....

Haha, well that is unfortunate. But if your buddy digs it, who's to blame him? Perhaps you can do the 'friendly' thing and persuade him to, shal we say, un 'bling' it a bit? The worst thing (and maybe the most simple to correct) is the stance. Ask him if he gets a nosebleed when he rides in it.

Well if he got it for a good price. Now all he has to do is make it his own.
    Nice car...John

I'd like to see how the body was mounted. even if it's a booger job it's still worth $2500.

No offense, but ********. No one is going to sell that car for $2500. They would have asked around before selling it that cheap. More like $12,500.
