COE 38 ford coe door handle question

Is there a exterior door handle from another vehicle that would bolt right up to my 38 coe doors and give me door locks?
I'd like to eliminate the keyhole on the p***enger side and have regular locking handle type locks if possible☺

 

Pretty sure an after market 33-34 Ford pickup would get u there..

Make sure the shaft length is long enough.

 

yes after market, usually is, sometimes you even need to shorten them...

 

To make them fit into the COE latches, you need to file off the edges of a short section of the square shaft. If you have a stock handle, you can use it as a template for the location.
