Always wanted a traditonal, old school hot rod. Found one, that was in a private collection for years, then sold at Barrett's..kept in another colleciton..and finally sold a Mecum a coupe years ago. Bought it from the guy who hit the "button" on Mecum. It is a nice coupe, the kind I remember as a kid who was "saving up for a car"...5 window standard 38 with a 59 A flatheard, mid-rise intake, double Strombergs. Headers. dropped front end. Stock banjo rear. Juice brakes, and CHAMPION cast heads. Tuck and roll interior. Always been a Model A guy, restored 5 of them, a Chevy 36 standard coupe, and a 57 Chevy Shortbed. So a lot to learn on this car. Learning to navigate the site, excuse my errors if I make them (made one mistake back in 1973? or 4)....seriously, I could learn a lot here. Have a brain cramp from watching Youtube video's on flatheads, and they don't always cove the down to earth questions. So hoping to get a little help from you folks when you've got the time. Thanks. Fred
