'38 LaSalle Transmission

    '38 LaSalle trans that my dad had in his '32 Ford.

    It was refreshed before he installed it in 1956-ish. The car a had various 265-301-327 engines until 1962 when it went in storage and has not been driven since. So only a few years of sporadic use.

    The aluminum adapter was made back then, but the old bellhousing left years ago, so it is is bolted to a '70s Chevy bellhousing now.

    He had a Corvette shifter bolted to it - that is long gone but a mounting bracket is on the trans.

    Driveshaft included (that went to a sedan delivery open banjo rear).

    Local pickup on west side of Fort Worth. I'd like you to come see it and pull the cover to inspect if you desire.
