   On the back of these cabs at the belt line there is an over lap. Was this done to allow flex, to ease manufacturing or just to make a place to rust out ? I'm thinkin, usualy causes my trouble, that I'll weld this into one peace. WILL THAT BE A MISTAKE?

   My 37 is built similar and thinking it was for ease of manufacturing.
