Ive been told by the owner this is a Canadian coupe ( ot is being sold and I'm interested ). How can I tell if that is true ? Are there any actual differences bewteen a canadian and US Ford from that year ?

    Thanks for any help.

It’s a 1939 Standard, does it really matter if it’s Canadian don’t know if any differences.

Might have a C at the beginning of the serial number. And a funny accent.

Check for a block heater, snow chains in the trunk, and a bottle of maple syrup in the glove box.
That’s how you know it’s a Canadian car.

What engine is in it? The 134 cid wasn't offered in Canada in 1939. Other than that there weren't many differences. You could get right hand drive which this obviously isn't and a Special DeLuxe model in Canada which were not offered as standard fare in the US.
