Wow - 64 years....what a great union - our thoughts are with the family....thanks for the posts....

 

Thank you everyone for your condolences and kind words. It was quite a shock to the family, even though he was 84 he was in great shape and took care of himself. He was young at heart, had many interests besides cars to always keep himself busy. He did have a heart issue years ago, surgery and was doing fine. At least he was not in pain and p***ed in his sleep.

I came across some things he was writing for me to post here, eventually when things get settled down I still hope to post it and other photos that I find.

He would check this site every morning to see if I had posted something, give me about 4 days and then call to nicely bug me to please post! So I know he would love me to continue.

I just heard about Ray's p***ing. I'm so glad we got to spend some time on the phone in October. I am going to miss him a lot. He was a great friend from the time I first met him and always enjoyed his company. We always had a lot of fun and one of my greatest regrets about moving away from Jersey was to not be able to spend more time with Ray. My condolences to his family and friends. RIP my friend I will miss you forever.

 

Hi, I know who you are by your car, but can't remember your name. Dave? Have met you at many car shows here in Jersey. I tried to call as many of Dad's friends as I could before the wake, but just couldn't call everyone. Call the house sometime, I'm sure your have the phone number. I am living here now taking care of Mom. Would love to talk to you. Thank you for your kind words.
